Dear Sir,

REQUEST FOR A ROAD AND A HOSPITAL

On behalf of the youth and people of this district, I would like to thank you for all the developmental projects we are seeing in our district at the moment.
Through your efforts, our district is gradually becoming a global village. We are most grateful.

However, there are certain basic amenities that are of paramount importance in the development of a district and as at now, our district lacks most of such amenities. I would like to, therefore, appeal to you on behalf of the people of this district, to come to our aid in providing the following amenities for us as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

First of all, one of our major needs is the reconstruction of our main road.
our main road, though constructed two years ago, is now in a deplorable state and this is as a result of the recent heavy downpours we have been experiencing in our district. The state of the road now has put the lives of our people, in constant jeopardy and this is attributed to the recent accident that took place on the road which led to many of the people sustaining various degrees of injuries. We are therefore calling on you, as our district chief executive, to restore sanity in our district by reconstructing out roads for us and if possible giving us a tarred road.

Secondly, another major need in our district is the provision of a public hospital.
Many people fall sick on a daily basis in this district and some even die as a result of not being attended to on time.
The provision of a public hospital and abled doctors will help our people to get easy access to health care when any of them falls sick. It will also serve as a way of reducing the mortality rate in expectant mothers and their children during and after delivery which is as a result of home delivery.

Furthermore, this district as a matter of urgency requires as much doctors and nurses as possible. Our district is one of the most populous districts in the country. It also has many of its populace to be the aged and very young children. The provision of this public hospital and subsequent employment of enough doctors and nurses will better ensure the vulnerable and sick are better taken care of. Another important reason why we need a hospital is that, young children in this district seldom get vaccinated. Many children in this community do not get vaccinated because there are no health centres to help in doing so. Thus, the provision of this hospital will help us achieve the aim of vaccinating our little children and in doing so, mitigate child diseases like poliomyelitis and measles.

I hope my request for the aforementioned amenities will be granted as soon as possible. Thank you.
